The Art of Survival Photographic Exhibition

The Art of Survival Photographic Exhibition is a truly unique concept, launched by David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF), internationally renowned photographer William Fortescue, and Red8’s Flagship Gallery.
A culmination of 3 years of dedicated commitment to his cause, this is the largest collection of William’s work ever to be displayed. The Exhibition includes some of his most popular prints so far: ‘Rumble in the Jungle’, ‘Michael’ and ‘African Icons’, alongside a variety of never-before-seen work from his time spent in Africa.
Each image, crafted in William’s instantly recognisable, dynamic style, focusses on some of Africa’s most iconic but threatened species. From elephants to lions and zebras to rhinos, the species adorning the walls are some of the most revered and recognisable alive today.
With the future of the natural world balancing on a knife edge, DSWF, William and Red8 Gallery have come together to host a series of exhibitions, aiming to raise vital funds for DSWF’s ground based projects to help turn the tide on species extinction.
The exhibition is centred around DSWF’s three key operational themes:
The Art of Survival: to Fight, Protect and Engage on behalf of wildlife.
The series presents an exciting opportunity for both art collectors and wildlife lovers to invest in the future survival of our planet by purchasing eye-catching wildlife art. Over the course of the exhibition, an incredible 33% of the proceeds will be donated to DSWF, allowing it to ensure a safer future for endangered wildlife.
This world class collection, which will be curated over a 5 year period in the form of three exhibitions, allows supporters to be a part of a collective campaign pushing for long term, sustainable conservation of the planet’s wildlife and wild places.
