Donating or fundraising in memory of a loved one is wonderful way of commemorating their life and love of wildlife. We are honoured to be part of these special tributes and to receive these generous donations.
Here’s how you can support DSWF in memory:
Set up a tribute fund
A tribute fund is a way of creating a special fundraising page through which you can ask friends and family to donate to DSWF in memory of your loved one and leave messages if they wish. This can be done easily through JustGiving.
Donate in their name
You can make a donation in memory online. Please do let us know that you’re donating in memory and who you’re remembering so we can ensure that your donation is attributed to your special person. You can also request a special donation certificate by contacting the Fundraising Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Collect at a funeral or memorial
You could ask your friends and family to make donations in lieu of flowers or gifts. We can send you a collection tin if you need one and leaflets about how any donations will make a difference to endangered species.
Take on a fundraising challenge
If you choose to take part in a fundraising event or organise your own activity as a tribute to your loved one, then we can support you with advice, resources and ideas. We’d love to hear from you.
