 Over 2,000 adventures will take on the fabulous Peak District as a walk, jog or a run, and all will receive the famous ‘Ultra Challenge’ support & hospitality all the way – which enables you to push yourself further and achieve something really special! From the Bakewell basecamp the full 100 km challenge heads out past Chatsworth House, and on through varied terrain on a figure of 8 route with a few testing climbs, and some stunning views. With half (50km), quarter (25km) & 10 mile challenge options also available, plus optional camping packages at basecamp – there’s an unforgettable Ultra Challenge weekend for everyone in the Peaks! 

This event is part of the Ultra Challenge Series – 16 great events where you can walk, jog or run your chosen distance in the UK’s most iconic locations! 

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

Why take part?

An Ultra Challenge is a great way to get in shape, re-energise and test your limits.  You’ll meet fantastic like minded people along the way and its a chance to explore some of the best of the UK’s countryside!

You’ll be supporting David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation in our mission to turn the tide on extinction by protecting endangered wildlife, fighting wildlife crime and engaging with local communities to foster peaceful coexistance with wildlife.

Lastly, its a fun challenge with great support and you will recieve a delicious glass of bubbly and a stunning medal upon completion!
