Loved at Home.
Persecuted in the Wild.
If this was your dog, you’d do anything to save it.
A snare doesn’t see the difference. Neither should we.
No life should be worth less because it’s wild.
Our dogs and cats are family. We would do anything to protect them. We would never leave them to suffer.
Yet for their wild counterparts, suffering is an everyday reality. They face different threats, but the same need for our compassion.
Across Africa, fewer than 700 painted dog packs remain. Since 2001, more than 30,000 wire snares have been removed from landscapes in and around Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. For lions, the threat stretches across continents, with 67 countries linked to 296 publicly reported lion seizures over the past decade.
One threat is hidden in the landscape. The other crosses borders. Both are human made. Both are preventable. Both can be challenged.
Your donation could help remove deadly snares, support anti-poaching patrols and expose the criminal networks profiting from lion body parts. Please give today and help protect painted dogs and lions from persecution.
