My artwork ‘Broken Home’ is a mixed media piece created to capture environmental impact of deforestation. A thick forest transitions into a barren wasteland, with only burnt stumps left behind. As the herd of elephants emerges, their elongated shadows are starkly contrasted by the devastation, symbolising their loss and displacement.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Zoe Fitchet is a wildlife artist from the South of England, creating lifelike portraits in acrylic and coloured pencil to support global conservation efforts. Known for her detailed, layered technique and use of negative space, Zoe brings a contemporary edge to her work. Always seeking to grow and experiment, she explores new styles alongside realism—such as the 3D mixed media piece featured in this exhibition. Through each piece, Zoe aims to tell a story, spark emotional connection, and raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the natural world.
