Wild Ride Mission Accomplished! General August 7, 2018 They’ve been bitten to bits by tsetse flies, suffered rough roads, sore bottoms, broken bikes and exhaustion – but they did it! Our amazing Wild Ride team – Andrew White, Harry Rowland, Jacques Rudolph and Laura Wright – have finished their epic 400km cycle across Zambia. Team Wild Ride 2018 tackle Kafue’s dusty roads. On their journey, our conservation ambassadors visited DSWF-supported projects, including the Game Rangers International Elephant Orphanage Project and anti-poaching unit. They also sang, danced and played sport with local children and families – helping to spread awareness of our work. The team suffers another bike malfunction. Funds raised from the Wild Ride will help us continue our vital conservation projects in Zambia, fighting to protect endangered species and inspiring local communities to do the same.
