With its electric atmosphere and roaring crowd this 26.2 mile race is a breath-taking event. The route major London landmarks, including Big Ben, the London Eye and Tower bridge. We work tirelessly to fund ground-based conservation partners, who operate on the front line in the fight against wildlife crime, protect some of the world’s last wildlife strongholds and engage with local communities to foster a peaceful coexistence with wildlife. Since our Foundation launched in 1984, more than £12.3 million has been granted to direct conservation support.

You will receive the following support from DSWF if you are successful in your London Marathon 2025 application.
If you apply before August 2nd and have not received an email from us by Monday 26th August, please email eleanor.eden@davidshepherd.org for confirmation.
£2,000 We ask all runners who secure a DSWF place to pledge to raise at least £2,000 (excluding Gift Aid) for DSWF.
£100 Once you secure your place, there is a non-refundable £100 registration fee which covers the cost to DSWF of each bond place.
If you feel you can commit to this target and would like to be considered for a DSWF place in 2025 please fill this form by Friday 2nd August 2024.
