Through the Blizzard

Through the Blizzard
Laura Phillips
About the piece:
Emperor penguins face some of the harshest and most unpredictable conditions on this planet, all while trekking many miles through Icey landscapes from the sea to their inland breeding grounds and back again. Australian artist Laura Phillips hoped to capture the feeling of this wild, frozen environment in this piece, with these emperors persevering through a blizzard together on the way to their destination.
