Casey Nadine Banwell
Casey’s bronze sculpture of a pangolin is a not-for-profit piece as she wants to spread the message “Planet before profit. Mother nature needs us to help protect our natural world“. When the pangolin is frightened he rolls up into a ball to protect himself, which makes this unassuming creature an easy target for poachers who can just pick him up and pop him in a bag.
Casey Nadine Banwell is an accomplished TV/film sculptress who has worked on a wide range of titles from Dumbo to Star Wars. Casey has created a series of hyper-realistic animal sculptures called the “On A Knife Edge” series, to bring awareness to endangered, or at-risk, animals in need of our help and protection. So far, her earnings have purchased 46 acres of rainforest; rescued, rehabilitated and released orangutans; funded the change of legislation within film to ban the use of wild animals and protected the pangolin.
