“Hope” was hand-drawn by Mike Pickett using chalk on black paper. The drawing was inspired by the artist’s love of animals and Africa.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
Mike Pickett is a self-taught artist, musician and all-around creative soul. His art is an evolving exploration of the human soul, wildlife, light, and illustration that takes Mike from one medium or subject to the next. Largely black and white themed, with the occasional splash of colour, his pieces draw inspiration from many sources including individuals from Mike’s everyday life, photography, music, philanthropy, the human form and psyche, wildlife, other artists, travels, and much more.
