Fragile

Fragile
ANAGRUZ
About the piece:
Anais Gruson (alias Anagruz) is a self-taught artist who uses her art to campaign for animals, and translates their behaviour, strength and fragility into her powerful and innovative pieces. Her paintings blend abstract art and realism to give audiences an understanding of the animal species around them and an encouragement to protect them. She portrays the animals that she paints as a symbol of the barely known individual, neglected and misunderstood. ‘Fragile’ shows the shattering of the critically endangered rhino. The breaking of the appearance shell portrays wildlife in its most authentic angle, the one that gets rid of these appearance barriers and brings us so much intellectual richness, humility and fascination.
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
