Circular Season

Circular Season
Eleonora Martorana
About the piece:
Eleonora grew up loving all the beautiful art she would constantly see around her, the colours, the quiet villas and all the contradictions of the big city. Since 2000 she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, being selected for several expositions, festivals, and workshops. The image of ‘Circular Season’ is visible from all four sides. It is built around the idea of a perpetual, circular moment. Every year swallows used to flock in their thousands where Eleonora grew up, and she observed them nesting, flying, hunting, and singing. These fascinating birds fly thousands of miles every year, and they remind us that ‘this also shall pass’. Life knows better, knows it’s times, its seasons, in a cyclic endless repetition, where nothing ever rests.
