About The Piece
Jack is a London based artist and printmaker with ASD. Jack says: “I am working hard to highlight the plight of the world’ most amazing wildlife and their struggle to survive. I am a self-taught artist living and working in London. I have exhibited in many London galleries and had my first one man show in The Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester, in 2019. The bushfires in New South Wales killed at least 5,000 koalas, as much as a third of the population. The forest fires also destroyed 24% of the koala habitat. My painting (which is in watercolour and acrylic) shows the heat and flames and also the confusion of the koala family stranded on a tree.”
At least 50% of the proceeds from this sale will support the charitable work of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
