ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

Nick Oneill’s artwork was inspired by the threat of extinction of shark species as a result of the finning industry. In Nick’s piece the colour of the blue ocean turns to the green of money taking the beautiful shark’s fins with it.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Nick Oneill is a self-taught artist and believes that this has helped him create his own style of painting and allowed him to stand out from the crowd. Although best known for his signature black backgrounds, over the last few years he has been experimenting with base and precious metals, giving his work stunning reflective qualities. Combined with the use of high gloss art resin, Nick’s latest works shine and sparkle like the oceans they represent.
