About The Piece:
Formerly a marine biologist, Jeremy has been a professional wildlife artist for 30 years. He has travelled extensively to collect reference material and all his paintings result from personal experiences and observation. He has been a category winner of Wildlife Artist of the Year three times. Allopreening – South African Penguins, Jeremy says “South African penguins have become a tourist attraction on beaches near Cape Town. This pair of mutually preening birds formed a spiral symmetry when viewed from above.”
