Katie Hester is a self-taught animal portrait artist based in Somerset, UK. She specialises in hyper-realistic animal portraiture using colour and graphite pencils. With each piece Katie aims to encapsulate the spirit, raw beauty and behaviour of the animal. The closer you get to the portrait the more details you can see, every meticulously drawn hair seems to radiate with life. It is Katie’s belief that through a mutual love of art and animals we can help save lives.
