Inspired by nature to create unique, exciting and quirky statement pieces, the materials I use are predominantly recycled, found or repurposed. This female anglerfish is made from recycled wood and other found materials.
MEDIUM: Recycled wood and found materials
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Matt makes his sculptures from his home in Somerset. He loves rummaging in old barns, farmyards, junk shops, for anything he can use to create his sculptures. As part of the making journey Matt wants to reflect and celebrate the natural environment and use any materials that he can adapt to create an artistic impression of each piece. It’s important to Matt that his sculptures demonstrate his passion for the materials he is working with and that they capture part of his creative self.

All artworks will remain at the Mall Galleries, even if sold, until the exhibition concludes on 13 September 2025.
