Wildfires are a natural occurrence within some ecosystems, but fire seasons are becoming greater and more extreme, in both their intensity and destruction. I wanted to show how conditions caused by climate change and land management are creating perilous situations for natural habitats across the globe.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Emma Price is both an abstract landscape oil painter and realism pencil artist. Living and working in Surrey, her work explores the themes – nature, the environment and conservation. Often taking the viewer on an emotional and sensory exploration, her simple, yet ethereal looking works are complex with feeling and reflection, evoking us to explore the fragility of life and our place in the world. She exhibits regularly at Art Fairs and galleries around the country and is an Associate member of The Society of Graphic Fine Art (The Drawing Society UK). Her work is held in private collections around the world.
