My polar bear portrait has been created at scale so that we can appreciate the enormous presence of the bear. An icon of the early movement to raise awareness of climate change, it remains one of the most poignant and recognisable symbols of melting arctic ice. Patinated blue, it references the many colours of glacier ice.
MEDIUM: Foundry bronze metal (blue)
