With my practice usually focusing on chickens, one of the highest populated animals, I began to consider species at risk of extinction. Inspired by the IUCN Red List, I visited several zoos to find inspiration. My Galapagos penguin artwork raises awareness for one of the rarest penguin species on the planet.
