Like the pedestrian crossings, which allow us to cross a potentially dangerous place, so too in the savannahs between Kenya and Tanzania; where the crossing is a tumult of bodies, water, dust, figures that merge to achieve the same goal as us – to get to the other side. Safe.
MEDIUM: Oil on canvas
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Stefano Zagaglia graduated in Architecture, and has completed his artistic path independently. A supporter of nature and animals, he finds the spark for his art in Africa and encounters with the creatures that populate it, painting them for their suggestive beauty, fragility and need to be respected. Selected as a Wildlife Artist of the Year finalist many times, in 2014 he was winner of the Wildlife category as well as the People’s Choice award and in 2016 he won the runner up award. He lives and works in Milan, but dreams of Africa.
