A Dazzle is the collective name for zebra. Zebra stripes are there to confuse predators, making it harder to pick out a single animal in the herd. Hopefully my painting gives an idea of what a lioness may have to go through looking into a herd of dazzling stripes!

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: A wildlife painter for 30 years, Jonathan Truss has had exhibitions in the US, London, Kenya and New York. A featured artist with P&O and Cunard Cruises from 2011 – 2017,he was previously a muscian, actor and cabaret artiste and spent 10 years a professional TV walk on artist. He has led art safaris since 2004 across Africa, India, Canada, Madagascar, Galapagos and South Georgia. Jonathan has twice been winner of the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year Frozen Planet category and a DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year finalist several times.
