Rens Hensgens – Leads

£200

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

Rens Hensgens has been inspired by the wild since he was very young. He explains that “Leads” are linear cracks and form highways through the lands of ice. Predators are attracted to these deep blue lines in their pale environment, it is where their prey is present. Leads allow sea-mammals to surface and breathe. Humans face the extreme arctic environment by navigating submarines through the leads, parallel to its inhabitants.
