Emerson Mayes – Courting Grebes

£850

ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:

This monotype print is part of a body of work completed in the first national lockdown in which the artist, Emerson Mayes, depicted his direct response to the wide variety of ‘feather’ and ‘fur’ found in the UK – fauna that became the backdrop to his daily life. Emerson tried to capture fleeting moments of quiet, solitude and hope – rarities during such a troubling time.
