Beneath towering trees, brambles, ferns and moss lined branches, nature converges, flourishes and thrives, free from human intrusion. Captivating tones of greens and blues highlight nature’s magnificent resilience and growth, beckoning us, yet not wanting our interference – a paradox accentuating the complex relationship between humans and the natural world.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Charmaine Boyle is a self-taught artist working mainly in oils. Originally from Zimbabwe, she lived most of her life in South Africa and currently resides in Scotland. The subject and style of her work is an ever evolving practice with experimental beginnings, continually motivated by the fragility of wildlife and nature and the need for conservation. Her current work explores the celebration and beauty of nature, energy and shifting light. Charmaine enjoys the versatility and richness oils offer, often blending directly on canvas, bringing awareness and momentum to each piece through a sense of depth and atmosphere.
