ARTWORK DESCRIPTION: Lindy Cullen’s tonal painting shows the humour Lindy in found watching a trio of warthog piglets running around with their tail tufts upright so they didn’t lose each other in the grass. This amusing observation was the inspiration for her endearing watercolour.
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY: Lindy Cullen was born in Zimbabwe and has a passion for animals, particularly African wildlife. Her favourite medium is watercolour, in which Lindy endeavours to capture the humour and character (without doing a preliminary sketch) of the animal she is portraying. Lindy is an ardent advocate for the conservation of endangered species, and a need for mankind to protect and preserve.
