The Ivory is Theirs
End the Ivory Trade
Tens of thousands of elephants are slaughtered every year for their tusks fuelled by the demand for ivory across the world. Domestic ivory markets, unless urgently closed, threaten the survival of elephants across Africa. A historic push has been led by countries like China, the US and now the UK in closing, or agreeing to close their domestic ivory markets recognising that the purchase of such products is archaic and no longer acceptable. By closing ivory markets around the world we send a clear signal that the only acceptable place for ivory is as a tusk on an elephant and that elephants are worth more alive than dead.
Support DSWF, Foundation Franz Webber (FFW) and the African Elephant Coalition (AEC) to call for the closure of all ivory markets below.
