Fundraise for DSWF

Join our amazing team of Wildlife Warriors and save endangered animals by fundraising for DSWF.

There are lots of ways to get involved and fundraise for wildlife. From organising something small such as a bake sale or hosting a quiz, to jumping out of a plane, doing a 50km challenge hike or running the London Marathon.

Get Fit Challenges

Why not set yourself a fitness challenge and boost your wellbeing whilst raising funds for wildlife?

Here are a few ideas for inspiration, but the world is your oyster – so why not come up with your own challenge to achieve!

  • Step Challenge: Set yourself a daily step target or monthly step target, and reward yourself at the end!
  • Swim/Cycle/Run: Set a distance you would like to cover by your chosen sport, such as cycling 100km in one month or swimming the distance of the channel
  • Other challenge ideas: Why not organise a push up, sit up, or burpee challenge where each day for one month, you complete a certain number of reps or minutes of your chosen activity

Non-Physical Challenges

Not all fundraising has to be physical, there are so many other ways you can get involved.

Here are a few ideas for inspiration:

  • Give-something-up challenge: Whether it’s your morning coffee, chocolate or other favorite snack, giving something up that you love for a set period of time is a great challenge for yourself and to raise funds. It may even help you be healthier too!
  • Meat-free Mondays or Veganuary (but any month!): Why not support us by reducing your meat and/or dairy intake? You don’t have to go cold turkey, but even doing Meatless Mondays (once a week for a year) would save 100kg of CO2 per year!
  • Knit-a-thon: do you knit, crochet, or have another hobby you could organise a marathon event for? Whether on your own or with friends, organising any activity you will do continuously for a set period of time is a fantastic way to engage people and raise important donations for animals.

Use your imagination to come up with your very own challenge. Let us know or give us a call to discuss ideas – we are here to support you in your activities and fundraising with free fundraising resources available to anyone taking part.
