ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Radu Tesaro (Radka Tesařová) is an essential painter with an unmistakable style, whose long-term stay in Zambia enabled her to perfect her own specific stylization, the courage to work with coloured surfaces, and to transform everyday scenes into paintings which shine with colours, warm sun and indefinable time. Radka received the first recognition and appreciation of her work during her five-year stay in Africa, when her works were presented in the main galleries in Lusaka and in the Alliance Francaise. She did not retreat from the African theme of her paintings even after relocating to Prague. Since 2006, in parallel with the African presentation, she has been exhibiting intensively in renowned galleries in the Czech Republic, USA, Canada, Germany, Austria, Dubai and Great Britain, where she is classified as one of the best contemporary authors depicting wild life. International exhibitions and awards from London currently place Rada Tesaro among young authors with interesting potential for collectors of African-inspired modern art.
