This study explores the subject of zebras in carefully considered loose blocks of colour. Catherine Ingleby has designed a high chroma palette in vivid hues to explore the boundaries of light, form and colour without completely losing the subject to abstraction.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Catherine Ingleby is a renowned wildlife and equine artist based in Berkshire. Her work, with its distinctive use of vivid colour and sense of movement, bridges both the contemporary and traditional. Catherine’s ability to capture the essence of character in both her large scale paintings and intimate portraits has lead to her art being collected worldwide, with works in the royal collection, prominent racing stables and private homes worldwide.
