This poignant portrait captures the expressive beauty of the gorilla. Shadow and light symbolise the delicate balance between existence and extinction. It is Louise Hancox’s hope that ‘Infinite Shadows, Singular Light II’ is a portrait which speaks volumes without uttering a single word.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Louise Hancox stumbled upon her true passion, creating animal art, just four years ago following a corporate career. Her work now adorns walls as far away as the West Coast, USA. Louise’s art is a force for positive change, with most of her original pieces donated to global wildlife conservation initiatives. Her pieces capture special moments and stories from her travels observing gorillas, sea turtles, big cats and more in their natural habitats. Ultimately, her art speaks of unexpected journeys and an unbreakable bond with the animal kingdom.
