‘Kalahari Rhino’ is a pen and ink drawing from Andrew Curtis’s safari sketchbook that he used whilst on a painting trip to Namibia last year. He comments that it was unexpected to find White Rhino in that part of Africa, but what a treat it was to see them flourishing there.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Andrew Curtis studied Fine Art at the Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford University, where he studied anatomy under Jonathan Kingdom, author of East African Mammals: An Atlas of Evolution in Africa. He has exhibited with the New English Art Club, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters (winner of the 2002 Winsor and Newton Award) and the Royal West of England Academy, as well as galleries in the UK, Japan and USA. Andrew has twice been selected as a finalist in the Wildlife Artist of the Year Competition.
