Lindy Cullen – The Sentinel

Original, Painting | 43 × 72 cm | Framed

Out of stock

A watercolour of a big chacma baboon keeping a lookout to warn the troop of approaching danger while sitting at the top of a dead tree with a 360 degree panorama. Lindy Cullen, the artist, was inspired by the warm colours on his fur at sunset. Baboons always make you smile.

Watercolour on paper

Lindy Cullen was born in Zimbabwe and has a passion for animals and particularly African wildlife. She is an avid supporter of the conservation of endangered animals and the need to protect and preserve their natural habitats. Lindy’s favourite medium is watercolour, without a preliminary sketch, as she hopes to capture the animals essence, vitality and often humour, in a loose style.
