ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

David Stribbling is one of the UK’s leading wildlife artists and is known for his powerfully evocative oil paintings with exquisite detail and colour, primarily of wildlife subjects and with a particular affinity for Africa and the big cats. His work has been sold through world renowned auction houses Christies and Phillips. A big supporter of DSWF for many years, David received a Highly Commended award for his 2022 WAY entry and he is proud to have been an ‘Artist of the Month’ in 2023. David works from his home studio in Lancashire continually looking for new subjects to paint and ways to explore his favourite medium of oil paint.
