Davina Bosanquet – Tiger Stripes

Original, Painting | 35 × 29 cm | Framed

Out of stock

Davina Bosanquet first saw this tiger in a zoo in Scotland but for her painting ‘Tiger Stripes’ has placed him where she thinks he should be, a majestic, bright orange beast, contrasting brilliantly against a rich colourful jungle background. An image that most will only ever be able to imagine.

Oil on canvas

Davina Bosanquet grew up surrounded by an array of different pets and spent her childhood drawing them. While visiting family in Kenya she experienced the magic of seeing animals close up in the wild and, after meeting David Shepherd himself out there, was inspired to use her art to help the animals she loves to paint. Since then Davina has held solo exhibitions in support of conservation projects in Brazil, Namibia and Gabon.
