It was when she was snorkelling among diving gannets that the artist Liz Myhill was making drawings while still in the water, or on a small boat. This allowed her to get a unique gannets-eye view of the chaotic scenes as they plunge from air to sea.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Liz Myhill RSW SWLA is a Scottish contemporary wildlife and landscape artist. Her works delve into the natural world through the act of walking, watching and recording; whether capturing a fleeting moment or through lengthy study. Much of her work is completed on location, observing directly from life while immersed in the raw experience of place and the elements. Some field works are also developed as studio paintings and printmaking using traditional techniques. Liz has received a number of awards for her work and is currently artist in residence with the Rahoy HIlls Scottish Wildlife Trust Reserve in Lochaber.
