The march hare is synonymous with springtime frenzy. Caught in the early-morning light, I really wanted to draw focus to the wild-eyed spirit of the species.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Amber Tyldesley’s high-impact pieces offer a fresh take on traditional realism. Working in acrylics, she aims to create a lively sense of depth, detail and luminosity in all of her subjects.
Amber often incorporates a layer of high-gloss resin into her work as the final step in her process. The resin finish enhances the colours and contrasts of the artwork in addition to giving a distinctive contemporary finish.
Supporting conservation efforts remains at the heart of Amber’s work, with artwork sales raising over £15,000.00 for projects across Africa and Asia. A previous finalist in the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year competition, her work has won the People’s Choice Award and been highly-commended by the judging panel on several occasions.
