Pete Downing is a much-travelled, award winning photographer based in the UK. He has been passionate about the natural world ever since he was a youngster (or as he puts it “quite some time now!”) and wishes, through his photography, to give something back for all the joy that it has brought by donating all profits from his work to wildlife charities.
He aspires to create unique images that allow the viewer to look at nature through his eyes and to capture for posterity unique, fleeting moments that can be easily overlooked.
Pete says “I am delighted to be able to play a part, however small, contributing to the wonderful and essential work being undertaken by The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. I remember, as a child, being awestruck by David’s artistry so to have the opportunity to work with the organisation that he established is an honour indeed.”
