About Swim Serpentine

This year DSWF have charity places on offer for the Two-mile challenge. The two mile swim is a chance for those who would like to test themselves at completing two full laps of the Serpentine Lake. If you’re a more experienced open water swimmer who is keen to take on a challenge within the beautiful grounds of Hyde Park, the two-mile distance is for you! This event will see you swim two full laps of the Serpentine lake, making it the ideal option if you’ve already completed a one-mile swim outdoors and are looking to build on your distance. The two-mile distance is also one of the three events that makes up the London Classics.

Why swim for DSWF?

One million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction. Environmental and wildlife protection has never been more important in safeguarding the future of our planet. Our mission is to Fight, Protect and Engage on behalf of endangered wildlife. We work tirelessly to fund ground ground-based conservation partners. Who operate on the front line in the fight against wildlife crime, protect some of the world’s last wildlife strongholds and engage with local communities to foster a peaceful coexistence with wildlife. Since our foundation launched in 1984, more than £12.3 million has been granted to direct conservation support. With your help, we can ensure a brighter future for wildlife.
