ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Having returned to art in recent years, Sarah Holmes is a developing charcoal artist principally aiming to capture the nature of animals. With her artistic inspiration drawn from many, including Henry Moore’s sketches, she likes the depth and darkness achievable with charcoal, and she has drawn the subject both in the light, and more subtly in the shadows, with the feeling it could disappear from view at any moment.
