ABOUT THE ARTIST Kate Alger is a multi-disciplinary analogue artist-printmaker and educator; her work is made entirely by hand. Proficient in a wide variety of traditional printmaking techniques, Kate is often inspired by the natural world—from woodlands and rivers to wildlife and plants. Her work is often described as soulful and timeless. Kate is delighted to have reached the final of Wildlife Artist of the Year for the third year in a row. Kate exhibits all over the UK and regularly undertakes both private and corporate commissions.
