This piece features a maturing African Wild Dog. Brett was inspired to showcase this species for two main reasons: it was her first time painting the African Wild Dog, and she has a deep appreciation for canines, dogs and wolves alike. The African Wild Dog, with its distinctive and striking markings, is no exception. The green background pays tribute to the theme “Green and Growing,” symbolising summer and the season of growth.
Thanks to Brett, 50% of the net proceeds from the sale of this artwork will support the charitable work of DSWF and our ground-based conservation partners across Africa and Asia.
