ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Alongside her scientific background, Megan has navigated mental health challenges throughout life. Art became her therapy, especially throughout the pandemic, and helped to busy hands and still the mind.

These pieces draw inspiration from the beautiful dung beetle—a symbol of perseverance. Demonstrating that strength can exist in even the smallest forms, and reminding us to keep moving forward despite the weight of the SH!T we carry.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Megan G holds a BSc in Zoology and has long been fascinated by animals and the natural world. However, it wasn’t until university that she really started to notice the little guys -insects. What began as a single course on honey bees, quickly developed into multiple entomology classes and a field course in Vietnam. Now proudly wearing a white ink dung beetle tattoo on her wrist, the animal has become a symbol and reminder to her of mental health and resilience.
