Sloths hang upside down from branches, using their long-curved claws to stay securely suspended. This position helps them to conserve energy, move safely through the canopy, and stay hidden from predators while resting or travelling between branches.

Sarah is a self-taught paper artist based in Kent, UK, known for her intricately detailed wildlife portraits made from hand cut paper. Inspired by nature and conservation, her work reflects a passion for the animals she portrays. Her dedication to wildlife and artistic excellence has earned her recognition, including being a finalist in Wildlife Artist of the Year in 2022, winning the Wings category in 2023, becoming the overall winner in 2024 and Highly Commended in 2025.
