“Rock Wave” reimagines a solid rock face through dynamic, flowing abstraction. Embracing the Abstract World category, it deconstructs organic forms into a vibrant mosaic of sweeping lines, capturing wave-like geological patterns carved over millennia. Ultimately, it serves as a powerful call for conservation: when we recognize the breathtaking beauty of foundational habitats—the miracles in the simplest elements—we connect with them, love them, and become fiercely driven to protect them and their inhabitants.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nadia Cross is an African fine artist based in Utah, known for her richly layered, nature-inspired abstract paintings. Raised in Zimbabwe, Nadia became an award-winning architect in the UK – working on prestigious projects like the Buckingham Palace Queen’s [now King’s] Gallery, before relocating to Utah in 2017. Inspired by her new surroundings, she transitioned to painting full-time. Today, her globally collected artwork celebrates the natural world, aiming to foster deeper environmental connections and meaningful conversations.
