ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Endless” aims to remind people of the importance of protecting the environment and wildlife. With the advancement of technology in the world, the natural environment has been replaced by high-rise buildings, and wild animals have lost their habitats as a result.

The artwork features a background crafted with natural pigments, resulting in distinct textures through the effects of granulation and precipitation. This technique, driven by the flow of watercolour rather than traditional brushwork, ensures that each piece is unique.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Ze Ze Lai is an acclaimed watercolour artist from Hong Kong. She draws inspiration from nature, and her expertise is in painting animals and birds. Ze Ze adopts an impressive range of styles in her art practice. From painting soft and dream-like scenes of small birds in the forests, to her use of bold dynamic strokes and granulating textures, she takes her viewers on a journey, imagining the peculiar lives and small moments of the little animals in nature.
