ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This drawing was made with fineliners with dotwork on paper. It’s made with intricate detailing, to capture the texture of the pangolin’s scales. The detailing, and the black and white contrast are meant to shed a light on the unfair and brutal suffering of this species. Approximately 100 work hours were put into this artwork.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Murányi Mira is a Hungarian 17 year old artist who is attending the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Budapest. She lives in a small town, surrounded by lots of animals and nature. From a very young age she has always been interested in wildlife, so nature and animals frequently feature in her artwork.
