Matthew Polluk is a self-taught artist who creates hyper-realistic works of art that depict the animals he loves in all shapes and sizes. Matthew’s drawings often suspend a moment in animal encounters which he exploits to not only explore the physical form that characterises the species and its adaptation to its given environment and lifestyle; but also to ponder the various nuances that reflect the personality and individuality of his subject.
