ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dolphins swimming in the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The artist feels lucky to have these beautiful animals in her area of South Florida. The canvas features a deep aqua and teal water background with a pod of dolphins viewed from above. The edges are finished with white paint and the whole canvas has a protective varnish.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Debbie W Nelson earned a BA Degree in History of Art from Emory University in Atlanta, USA. Her painting style incorporates her love for and studies in art, history, and wildlife. It merges realism, a touch of impressionism, and a bit of whimsy. Her career was a wildlife conservationist, as co-founder and co-director of  “Kangaroo Conservation Center”, a conservation and educational facility in Georgia until 2013. Besides painting, her art includes mixed media animal sculptures.
