Roloway monkeys, with distinctive features of white beard and red/brown back, were only classified as their own species in 2005. With an estimated population in the wild of only 200, they are one of the most endangered primates in the world. This piece aims to spotlight the plight of this lesser-known animal.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anya (Alley) Scout is a freelance artist, based in West Yorkshire, with a passion for nature and wildlife. They typically work with coloured card as a medium to create collages that are intersections between sculptural work and two-dimensional imagery. Their layering process utilises limited colour palettes and geometric shapes to create both realistic and unconventional depictions of the natural world.
